There are many activities to choose from.

Youth Camps get to choose 3 activities,
unless they choose a 2 period activity then they will get 2 activities.

Family Camps will get a variety of activities to sign-up for at camp.

From beginning to expert, perfect your skills in the art of archery in a fun and safe environment.

imageDigital Photography:

This summer you will take digital pictures. You will learn how toretouch and apply special effectsto your photos. Enjoy learningabout composition and lighting.

imageArts and Crafts:

Discover your creative talents as you create gifts and knick-knacks of all kinds.

imageOutdoor Living Skills

Learn how to build shelters,tie knots, weather, ecology, and other basic skills for outdoor camping.

imageCanoeing:

Earn your canoeing honor while exploring nature and mastering water safety techniques.

imageRC Planes

Learn how to build, fly and maintenance on your own remote control plane that you get to take home with you.

Additional $40 charge

imageCeramics:

Take an ordinary piece of greenware and turn it into a priceless piece of art.

imageSailing:

Experience the exhilaration of being the master of your own ship. Control your direction and destiny as you sail around the lake.

imageChallenge Course**:

Rope up and work together. Our challenge course teaches creative problem-solving and how to work with people in activities like the Nitro Crossing or jumping off the Leap of Faith.

imageSkateboarding

You will use camps equipment from skateboards to protective gear to learn the basics for having fun riding a skateboard.

imageDrama:

Experience theatrics! Spend your week strengthening your acting skills, then share what you have learned with a final performance at the conclusion of the week.

imageSkinDiving:

Learntobreathethroughasnorkelandview the underwater world ofHayden Lake.

imageGeocaching:

You'll get to use a Global Positioning System receiver to hide and seek containers (called "geocaches" or "caches")in and around camp. A fun way to search for treasure.

imageSportClimbing**:

Learn to climb on or new climbing wall! Weteach climbingtechnique, anchor building, lead climbing and rapelling all under the supervisitionof one of our highly trained staffmembers.

2 period activity

imageGuitar:

Learn the basics of guitar. Experience the art of song leading and performance.

imageSports

Each day you will get to participate in a different sport. Example: basketball, soccer, volleyball, softball to name a few.

imageGymnastics:

From handsprings to aerials, this class is guaranteed to make you a more flexible person.

imageSwim Lessons:

Experience the world of the guppies andbarracudas. Then become oneyourself as youwork toward RedCross and Pathfinder honors.

imageHorsemanship*:

Whether you were born in the saddle or don't know a head from a tail, we can help you improve your riding skills.

CHA Skills Program

2 period activity

imageUnicycling:

Learn a new skill riding on one wheel. In no time you'll be riding on your own.

imageJuggling

Learn a new skill and improve your concentration, while impressing your friends at the same time.

imageVideoProductions:

It's the big screen! Learnproduction skills as you direct, shoot or act in your own mini motion picture.

2 period activity

imageLego Robotics:

You'll learn how to use materials through the process of designing, constructing, and debugging a robot of your own conception.

imageVolleyball:

Learn good sportsmanship, playwith a great team and enjoy experienced instruction on the beach of beautiful Hayden Lake.

imageMountain Biking:

If you enjoy bicycling, the outdoors, and a good challenge, this is the class for you. Our instructors will guide you through the backwoods by single-track trails for all levels.

imageWakeboard/Waterski:

Jump the wake or do the skier salute.Work on your AWSA awardsand Pathfinderhonors while having fun skiing, orwakeboarding behindour SkiNautiques.

imageModelRocketry:

The sky is the limit as you create your own model rocket, then watchas it shoots into the air with the rest of camp as your audience.

*Horsemanship-Minimum 8 years, long pants and hard-soled shoes (no tennis shoes) are a neccessity for riding.

**Sport Climbing-Minimum 10 years and weight of 70 lbs.All classes subject to change and availability.
