There are many activities to choose from.

Youth Camps get to choose 3 activities,
unless they choose a 2 period activity then
they will get 2 activities.

Family Camps will get a variety of activities
to sign-up for at camp.

Archery:

From beginning to expert, perfect your skills in the art of archery in a fun and safe environment.

Model Rocketry:

The sky is the limit as you create your own model rocket, then watch as it shoots into the air with the rest of camp as your audience.

Arts and Crafts:

Discover your creative talents as you create gifts and knick-knacks of all kinds.

Photography:

This summer you will take black and white pictures, develop the negatives, and make proof sheets. Enjoy learning about composition, lighting and special darkroom techniques.

Canoeing:

Earn your canoeing honor while exploring nature and mastering water safety techniques.

RC Planes

Learn how to build, fly and maintenance on your own remote control plane that you get to take home with you.

Additional $40 charge

Ceramics:

Take an ordinary piece of greenware and turn it into a priceless piece of art.

Sailing:

Experience the exhilaration of being the master of your own ship. Control your direction and destiny as you sail around the lake.

Challenge Course**:

Rope up and work together. Our challenge course teaches creative problem-solving and how to work with people in activities like the Nitro Crossing or jumping off the Leap of Faith.

2 period activity

Sport Climbing**:

Come try our awesome sport climbing wall. Learn and practice your skills as you climb toward the sky.

Drama:

Experience theatrics! Spend your week strengthening your acting skills, then share what you have learned with a final performance at the conclusion of the week.

Swim Lessons:

Experience the world of the guppies and barracudas. Then become one yourself as you work toward Red Cross and Pathfinder honors.

Geocaching:

You'll get to use a Global Positioning System receiver to hide and seek containers (called "geocaches" or "caches") in and around camp. A fun way to search for treasure.

Unicycling:

Learn a new skill riding on one wheel. In no time you'll be riding on your own.

Guitar:

Learn the basics of guitar. Experience the art of song leading and performance.Gymnastics: From handsprings to aerials, this class is guaranteed to make you a more flexible person.

Video Productions:

It's the big screen! Learn production skills as you direct, shoot or act in your own mini motion picture.

2 period activity

Gymnastics:

From handsprings to aerials, this class is guaranteed to make you a more flexible person.

Volleyball:

Learn good sportsmanship, play with a great team and enjoy experienced instruction on the beach of beautiful Hayden Lake.

Horsemanship*:

Whether you were born in the saddle or don't know a head from a tail, we can help you improve your riding skills.

CHA Skills Program

2 period activity

Wakeboard/Waterski:

Jump the wake or do the skier salute. Work on your AWSA awards and Pathfinder honors while having fun skiing, or wakeboarding behind our Ski Nautiques.

Juggling

Learn a new skill and improve your concentration, while impressing your friends at the same time.

Lego Robotics:

You'll learn how to use materials through the process of designing, constructing, and debugging a robot of your own conception.

*Horsemanship-Minimum 8 years, long pants and hard-soled shoes (no tennis shoes) are a neccessity for riding.

Mountain Biking:

If you enjoy bicycling, the outdoors, and a good challenge, this is the class for you. Our instructors will guide you through the backwoods by single-track trails for all levels.

**Sport Climbing-Minimum 10 years and weight of 70 lbs.All classes subject to change and availability.
