Class Descriptions

Archery-
From beginner to expert, perfect you skills in the art of Archery in a fun
and safe environment.

Boats/Sailing-
Experience the exhilaration of being the master of your own ship. Control
your direction and destiny as you sail around the lake.

Beach Volleyball-
Sink your feet into the sand as you face your opponent in beach volleyball. You will work on volleyball techniques and practice while enjoying the sun on Mivoden¹s waterfront.

Canoeing-
Earn your canoeing honor while exploring nature and mastering water safety techniques.

Ceramics-
Take an ordinary piece of green ware and turn it into a priceless piece of
art.

Challenge Course-
Rope up and work together. Our challenge course teaches creative problem solving and how to work with people, in activities like the Nitro Crossing or jumping off the Leap of Faith. This activity involves ³high ropes² elements 20-30 feet off the ground. While current safety procedures are used & practiced, this activity involves inherent risks.
10 years and older.

Country Crafts-
Discover your creative talents as you create gifts and knickknacks of all
kinds.

Drama-
Experience theatrics! Spend your week strengthening your acting skills,
then share what you have learned with a final performance at the conclusion of the week.

Geocaching-
You'll get to use a Global Positioning System reciever to hide and seek containers (called "geocaches" or "caches") in and around camp. A fun way to search for treasure.

Guitar-
Learn the basics of guitar! Experience the art of song leading and
performance.

Gymnastics-
From handsprings to aerials, this class is guaranteed to make you a more
flexible person!

Horsemanship-
Whether you were born in the saddle or don¹t know a head from a tail, we can help you improve your riding skills. While current safety procedures are used and practiced, this activity involves inherent risks. 2² heeled boots and long pants are required.

Lego Robotics -
You'll learn how to use materials through the process of designing, constructing, and debugging a robot of your own conception.

Model Rocketry-
The sky is the limit as you create your own model rocket, then watch as it lofts into the air with the rest of camp as your audience.

Mountain Biking-
If you enjoy bicycling, the outdoors, and a good challenge, this is the
class for you! Our instructors will guide you through the back woods by
single track trails for all levels.

Outdoor Living-
If you want to know how to survive in the wilderness, this is the class for
you! Learn what you can and can¹t eat, and survival techniques that may
come in useful when lost in the wilderness.

Photography-
This summer you will take black and white pictures, develop negatives, and make proof sheets! Enjoy learning about composition, lighting and special dark room techniques!

Sign Language-
Learn a beautiful new language by speaking with your hands.

Skateboarding-
For those that can¹t stand up on a skateboard to those that can fly off
jumps. Skateboarding will offer hours of fun and entertainment.

Skin Diving-
Explore the underwater world with the fish while working on your skin diving honor.

Sport Climbing-
Come try our awesome sport climbing wall. Learn and practice your skills as you climb toward the sky! While current safety procedures are used &
practiced, this activity involves inherent risks. 10 years and older.

Sports-
This class explores techniques in a variety of sports, such as Basketball,
Soccer, and Beach Volleyball.

Swim Lessons-
Experience the world of the guppies and barracudas, then become one yourself as you work toward Red Cross and Pathfinder honors.

Unicycling-
Learn a new skill riding on one wheel. In no time you'll be riding on your own.

Video Production-
It¹s the big screen! Learn production skills as you direct, shoot or act in
your own mini motion picture.

Wakeboarding-
Come learn sweet jumps, like the Stalefish, the Crail, a phat inverts, or
maybe a Scarecrow or a Tantrum, all of which will be thrown behind our
incredible Air Nautiques!

Water-skiing-
Jump the wake or do the skier salute. Work on your AWSA awards and
Pathfinder honors while having fun skiing or wakeboarding behind our new Ski Nautiques!
