Youth Camps

Basic Youth Camps

Camp MiVoden offers a variety of camps in the summer time. Our basic youth camps are one week long from Sunday to Sunday. They are age specific starting with age 8 with our Adventure camp and going up to age 16 with Teen camp. Campers attending these camps have a chance to take a variety of Activities in the afternoon. In the morning cabin groups get to participate in a wide range of events that develop group co-operation skills, new individual skills, and just fun recreation. They include things like the zipline, sportclimbing, seawasp riding, the blob, swimming, canoeing, and more.

Adventure Camp

The possibilities for you are endless. Great stuff! This program is designed just for teens - new classes, new friends and improving on old skills or learning a new one - will turn an ordinary summer into an unforgettable experience.

Junior 1 Camp

Whether you are an outdoor explorer or a creative genius, we have something for you! Our full range of activities makes your options endless.

Junior 2 Camp

Experience all of the activities that camp has to offer! With advanced instruction and a variety of options, from horsemanship to waterskiing, we offer you a variety of experiences that will give you a chance to sharpen your abilities and learn new ones.

Spanish Camp

Designed for our Spanish-speaking friends to enjoy all the activities that camp has to offer. Come enjoy the great outdoors at MiVoden.

Specialty Camps

In addition to basic camps are Specialty camps. Like the basic camp specialty camps also run from Sunday to Sunday and are age specific. These camps are designed to give older campers more time on their favorite activities in smaller groups. If you want to really improve your wakeboarding/skiing, horseback riding, climbing skills, or flying skills check into one of these camps.

Mission Aviation

14-17 years

Those who seek adventure and flight will enjoy this camp. When you sign up for Mission Aviation you get a lot more than just another camp. Your week includes beginning ground school instruction and your own ground school book, your own log book to take home with you, at least 2 hours of actual flight time toward your pilot's license, a control tower tour, tours of a variety of aircraft, a field trip to a flight museum and the chance to talk to the people who fly planes in the mission field! If you like planes and want to learn to fly this camp is for you!!

This week is designed for all of you who want to fly over the edge. It will push you to excel and achieve your potential. Tougher climbs, whitewater rafting and survival techniques are just the tip of the iceberg.

Come experience the thrill of wakeboarding while learning with our state-of-the-art Air Nautique boat. It is designed especially for wakeboarding with a larger wake and a cage that gives maximum lift on jumps. Small class size means instructors can help each camper build on his or her own experience and comfort level.

It's time to saddle up! Each class is designed to challenge every camper, regardless of experience. From trail rides to horse and barn care, campers will have a broad range of equestrian experiences. Long pants and shoes with a two-inch heel are a necessity for riding.

If you think that working at camp is for you, then come and spend a week trying it out. Although this doesn't promise you a job, it does allow us to get to know you better and gives you an idea of what you would want to do.
