National Singles Camp

Aug 31-Sept 7, 2009

WelcomeGroup of Single Ladies

Begin each day by absorbing the splendor of the majestic mountains and lake from your balcony or breakfast table. God’s blessings are shared each morning, and His care sought for the coming day. Create your own daily adventure by selecting from a broad sectrum of activities. You may choose to relax, explore the woods, or hit the beach to soak up the sun with friends. For those who want to fill their day with activities, there are two recreation periods in the morning and three in the afternoon. Instruction and classes are available for various activities. Each evening, a “Big Event” is scheduled for you to participate in or simply sit back and watch. Then as the sun falls behind the mountains, “Campfire” offers spiritual renewal. To complete your day, you may enjoy a swim in the indoor pool, a soak in the jacuzzi, or a table game with friends.

Guest Speaker ~ Richie Brower

Richie Brower and FamilyRichie and Timi met at summer camp. He was assistant camp director, she was a counselor and lifeguard. Both were on track towards careers in ministry. Both loved God as they understood Him. It seemed like a match made in heaven. But while friends considered them the "ideal couple", they spent the first 9 years of their marriage carefully guarding their professional "got it together" facade.
When both marriage and ministry came to a crisis, Richie walked away from his job as a pastor in order to pursue three things:
1. A deeper walk with God 2. A healed marriage 3. Raising a godly family. Since that time they have seen miracle after miracle as God has done for their family what no one else could do. They love to share the stories of how God is restoring their family and how He can do the same for you.
