Outdoor School
Canoeing

Imagine students actively involved in learning, so excited about their classes they can hardly wait for outdoor school to begin. See them investigating, collecting specimens, collaborating with one another, problem solving, meeting challenges, and cheering each other on. See them perched on the edge of their seats, listening to the camp pastor's stories, becoming acquainted with Jesus Christ.

Students who attend UCC Outdoor School participate in a hands-on active program that includes earning Pathfinder Honors, a nature or survival curriculum, guest specialists, outdoor recreation, indoor pool, crafts and much more.

Upper Columbia Conference offers an opportunity for teachers to bring their grade 5 and 6 students, two outdoor schools and one small-schools outdoor school for grades five through eight. Seventh and eighth grade students have a separate afternoon program designed just for them.

Outdoor school is an exciting and challenging experience for students and parent volunteers. It's an opportunity to make new friends and life-long memories.

Homeschoolers are welcome. If you have a homeschool student and are interested in them attending, please contact UCC, Dept. of Education at 509-838-2761
