Math Camp
Where the Fun Multiplies
April 7-11, 2008
Get the Facts
Math Camp is designed for students in grades 3-6, who desire to strengthen their fact skills and understanding of operations. We offer camps for Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division. These camps can be done simultaneously or alone depending on the amount of students enrolled.
The Camps are arranged to instruct in a tutorial manner with professional teachers. This is in the morning from 9am–12pm. There is a one-hour lunch and “recess” break. In the afternoon the students are challenged in a “carnival booth-type setting” to do drill work. This session lasts from 1-3pm.
On Monday morning, students are given placement tests. They are tested again on Friday so we can evaluate improvement. The students really enjoy the booths, so much that they forgot they were doing math.
Quizmo would like to promote their product at our camp. They want permission to film our campers using their product, for their promotional video. We really need the picture permission slips signed. It is not mandatory, but it would make their production easier. They are giving us a discount on their product in exchange.
The cost is $185 per person for overnight camp. One chaperone can attend free for every 10 students. The cost for day camp is $115 per person.
The registration forms must be returned by March 29, 2008. The fees must be paid anytime prior to arrival at camp.
Please arrive at camp between 8:00-9:00 am for registration on Monday, April 7, 2008. Departure will be at 9:00 am on Friday, April 11, 2008.
Our goal is to strengthen math skills.
