Camper Check-In
Campers are pre-registered for their classes on a first come, first serve basis. Pre-register early to reserve the camp of your choice. Registration for all camps is held each Sunday from 2:30-5:30 pm. Hint:(avoid the “long line” by coming after 3:30 pm.) Sorry, registration cannot begin earlier. Those who have their accounts paid in full will be processed quickly. The first meal at camp will be Sunday supper, served between 5:30-6:30 pm. The meal charge for a guest not registered for camp is $6.50. Reservation for such meal is required by the Tuesday before the needed weekend.Camper Check-Out
Please plan to check out of your cabin or pick up your child between 8:45 and 9:45 on Sunday morning. Be sure to let the counselor on duty know you are taking your child. Child Care is available until 2:30 p.m. for those who cannot pick up their camper until this time. To assist us in planning, we request that arrangements be made in advance by calling our office. Children not picked up by 10:15 a.m. will go into child care. Child care is $7 per hour for early arrival or late departure.Two-Week Option
Stay at MiVoden for a second, fun-filled week! Simply mark the “1st wk” (first week) and “2nd wk” (second week) choices on the youth camp application form under “camp Selection.”Bus Schedule
The MiVoden Bus departs camp each Sunday during our youth camps and makes a round trip to Walla Walla, the Tri-Cities, and Spokane. Its exact schedule can vary due to road and traffic conditions. Please arrive early to pick up and drop off your child, as the driver will not wait for late arrivals. All fares are round trip. Sorry, no one-way discounts.Walla Walla – Each Sunday the bus arrives at 12:30 p.m. at Walla Walla Valley Academy (300 SW Academy Way, College Place). It departs at 12:45 p.m. for the Tri-Cities area. Cost: $30.
Tri-Cities – Each Sunday the bus arrives at 11:45 a.m. at the King City Texaco Truck Stop on Hwy. 395 for camper drop off. The bus then goes to Walla Walla Valley Academy for its drop off and pick up. The bus then returns to the King City Texaco Truck Stop for the Tri-Cities pick up. It departs at 1:45 p.m. from the truck stop for MiVoden. Cost: $30 – Each Sunday the bus arrives at 9:15 a.m. at the UCC office (3715 S. Grove Rd in Spokane) and drops off campers returning home from camp to Spokane. Please be sure to pick up your child on time, as no one will be available to stay with them when the bus leaves at 9:20 a.m. It will return at approximately 4:15 p.m., at the same location, to pick up campers for the next week. Cost: $17.
Camp Store
Visit our camp store for shirts and souvenirs. We recommend that your child keep spending money in the camp bank for safekeeping ($20-$40 for the camp store is usually adequate).Camp Photo
If your child would like a camp photo of their week at camp simply add $6.50 to your camp fee calculation, and their picture will be ready to take home by the end of camp.
Mail Call
Campers love letters and packages! Send them early in the week, stating which camp they’re attending. Mailing address: Camp MiVoden, 17415 E. Hayden Lake Rd., Hayden Lake, ID 83835. Emails are delivered with daily mail. Send correspondence to info@MiVoden.com with your campers’ name in the “Subject” area.
Phone Calls
Due to the large number of campers, we ask that calls to campers be limited to emergencies. This line is for camp business and messages only. There are two pay phones at camp for campers to use. To leave a message for your camper, please call (208) 772-3484. For questions about registration or camp, call (208) 772-3484. Visitors
We ask that all visitors check in at the camp office. Should you desire to take a camper out of the program, arrangements must be made with the Camp Director. The person who signed the application must make these arrangements.
