SPIRITUAL GROWTH

This year our devotionals will be provided by Pastor Scott Hakes who is a vibrant fourth generation Seventh-day Adventist pastor of Southeast Adventist Fellowship for Evangelism in Mesa, Arizona, who has a passion for ministry. He is constantly looking for innovative ways to present the truth about our great God. He has been known to shoot a golf ball in church, throw stones and even pull out his Pakistani sword on his audiences. Scott enjoys softball, golf, and fast cars. Scott has a love for people you will be drawn to. He is a sought-after speaker who has preached on four continents during his seven-year career. You will be entertained, motivated, challenged and equipped to better represent Christ after your encounter with Pastor Scott Hakes.

CHECK IN TIME

Check-in time is 2 pm to 5 pm, August 27. Check out time is 10:00 am, September 3. Cancellation refunds are available up through August 7. All reservations and transportation will be confirmed.

TRANSPORTATION

The nearest commercial airport is in Spokane, WA about one hour from camp. Arrangements for airport pickup must be made in advance.

Please submit flight information with registration or no later than August 18. Round-trip shuttle cost to Camp is $28.00. No one-way fares. Airport pickup is ONLY available Monday Aug. 27, Tuesday August 28, and Wednesday August 29. Pickup times are: 10:00am, 2:00pm, 6;00pm, and 11:00pm. Return shuttle is available from Sunday September 2, beginning, at 10am through Monday September 3 at 11:00 am. All airport pickups will be confirmed.

COST (See application)

Complete package includes: lodging, meals, recreation, and use of facilities/equipment. Due to Camp popularity and demand, reservations can't be be accepted for less than 5 days. (NO SABBATH ONLY GUESTS.) Guests without confirmed reservations are accepted only as space is available. Attendance is limited to paid registered guests. Drop-in visitor and non-paying guests will not be accepted at any time during the week. We reserve the right to decline admittance to any individual.

HOUSING AND MEALS

Lakefront lodges provide dormitory style rooms with shared bathroom facilities. Linens are not included but are available for $15.00. RV and Tent sites are also available. Delicious vegetarian meals are included in the package cost.

TEMPERATURE

The temperature at MiVoden ranges from 75-90 degrees during the day and 40-50 degrees at night.

CLOTHING

You'll feel most comfortable during Sabbath worship and the banquet in semiformal attire. During activities and tours you will want to go casual; slacks, jeans, shorts, or modest swimsuits are fine. Bring a jacket or a sweater for cool evenings.

WHAT TO BRING

Feel free to bring a camera, flashlight, umbrella, your favorite table games, soap, towels, wash cloth, pillow and sleeping bag (or you can rent a linen packet from the camp for $15.00)
